So where to begin?

I guess at the beginning would be a good enough place to start.

Hi there, my name is Evan, iv been a photographer since 2011. I started doing photography when I lived in South Africa, almost 3 years ago I moved to Galway Ireland, and have been loving it here ever since. As you can imagine moving to a new country is a big thing, learning how things work in a new country, getting settled down, and of course, working to survive.

Before leaving South Africa I had a massive computer crash and I lost 90% of my photos, portfolio and everything I'd built up over the years. This was a massive eye-opener for me and the importance of having backups of my work. Now I have my work in multiple places and up in the clouds. This unfortunately also means that I need to start over and build up my portfolio once again.

I recently decided to dive back into photography and start shooting regularly. I will be using this blog as a medium to document my journey back into photography, my mind explosion of thoughts and ideas, and some product reviews and news when they come up or I get new toys and some tutorials of cool techniques I use or learn.
